Movie Review Corner: Hellraiser, not a great movie other than the memorable gore and torture scenes. You could say something similar thing about the Saw movies, but Hellraiser is cooler because Cenobites are not just victims but also embodiemnts of pain. Cenobites have reclaimed their torture. I also like how “Female Cenobite” was initially a token woman character but now just seems ahead of her time genderqueer.
